Dentaurum introduces rematitan® Plus Speed, a quick and easy to use universal titanium investment, fully suitable for speed-heating. Whether casting partial dentures or crowns and bridges, rematitan® Plus Speed is multifaceted. A new patented investment stabilising process means the investment must not only be placed in the furnace at final temperature. Following the required hold-time, the casting ring is removed from the furnace and allowed to cool. After a further 45 minutes, the ring is cast. The total processing time is therefore shortened to around 2 hours. This saves both working time and money. One of rematitan® Plus Speed’s further advantages is the truly smooth and homogeneous surfaces of castings when compared with the conventional titanium investment, rematitan® plus. With rematitan® Plus Speed, there is no longer the need for exact furnace control. Any conventional laboratory furnace can be used. Only one mixing liquid is used for both partial dentures and crowns and bridges. This means fast and economic titanium casts, independent of the casting system used, but especially in combination with the Dentaurum autocast 230 universal casting unit.
