Manufactured debonding channel
Successful debonding
With the aid of FEM (Finite Element Method) it was possible to reduce the material thickness of the brackets in specific places. One reduction was made vertically between the bracket wings. This manufactured debon-ding channel eases bracket debonding without causing loss of rigidity during treatment.
