Trouble shooting in modern orthodontics

Seminar program

• Solving anchorage problems with the application of mini-implants / screws and SUS² for a sufficient
  anchorage
• Solving aesthetic and time problems with biomechanically and aesthetically improved appliances
  (the almost invisible braces / selfligating braces)
• Non compliance problem: The concept of the progressive bite jumping using fixed appliances such
  as SUS² (also in combination with mini-implants) has been proved to be effective even in adults,
  and it helps to avoid headgear use, extraction, or surgical correction
• TMJ problems: prophylaxis / diagnoses and management during the orthodontic treatment
• In this course we will discuses the basic principles, indications and restrictions, and the dentoalveolar
  and skeletal effects, presenting practice-oriented treatment cases, and substantiated by scientific evidence, the steps of insertion and activation of the mentioned devices, also issues of retention and problem-solving will be demonstrated and discussed.
